Job Description:
Reporting to the Manager, Data Analytics, the Senior Data Analyst will lead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of AI-enabled analytical products and Tableau solutions that support Prospr's digital journey, growth, and sales.
This role partners with business and technology stakeholders to turn ambiguous questions and complex data into trusted metrics, actionable insights, and scalable reporting. The Senior Data Analyst is expected to use SQL, dbt, AWS, Tableau, GitHub Copilot, approved AI tools, and multiple specialized AI agents to improve delivery speed and efficiency while maintaining a high standard of accuracy, data quality, and business accountability.
What will you do?
- Partner with stakeholders to frame business questions, define KPIs, clarify requirements, and recommend actions from analytical findings.
- Use GitHub Copilot, approved AI tools, and multiple specialized AI agents to accelerate research, SQL development, dbt transformations, Tableau development, documentation, testing, issue triage, and analysis while validating all outputs.
- Lead end-to-end Tableau development, including data connections, semantic design, calculated fields, LOD expressions, parameters, actions, interactive dashboards, workbook architecture, performance optimization, publishing, and governance.
- Lead complex ad hoc investigations, data reconciliations, and root-cause analyses across the sales funnel
- Build, enhance, and document reliable analytical data models using SQL and dbt, including clear metric definitions, reusable transformations, tests, lineage, and code review.
- Use AWS services such as Athena, S3, Glue, and Step Functions to automate data preparation, model workflows, extracts, quality checks, and operational reporting.
- Apply rigorous accuracy controls through source-to-target checks, data tests, trend analysis, exception analysis, reconciliations, and business validation before publishing insights and Tableau dashboards.
- Manage and prioritize multiple workstreams at the same time, using AI agents to organize research and accelerate delivery while maintaining clear ownership, status communication, and quality gates.
What do you need to succeed?
- A degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, delivering trusted insights and reporting in a complex, stakeholder-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to use modern AI-assisted ways of working responsibly to improve efficiency, learn quickly, and accelerate delivery without compromising accuracy, confidentiality, or professional judgment.
- Strong analytical judgment and the ability to turn ambiguous business questions into clear recommendations, measurable outcomes, and practical actions.
- Ability to own work from discovery through delivery, manage concurrent priorities, communicate risks clearly, and maintain quality under time pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analysis clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
Technical Skills:
- Expert Tableau development using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server or Cloud,
- Advanced SQL for large datasets and analytical data modeling, including experience with Athena/Trino, relational platforms such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL, and dbt
- GitHub Copilot, approved AI tools, and multi-agent workflows
- AWS cloud data services including S3, Glue, Athena, and Step Functions,
- Strong Excel skills for analysis, validation, and stakeholder-ready outputs
