About the role

The Senior Network Engineer will provide advanced system-level diagnosis, perform root-cause analysis for major incidents, and manage firmware and software maintenance. They are also responsible for maintaining design documentation, mentoring staff, and leading network design-level troubleshooting and capacity planning.

Requirements

Candidates must possess 7+ years of senior network engineering experience and hold either Aruba (ACMP/ACEP) or Cisco (CCNP) certifications. An ITIL Foundation certification is also required for this role.

Full description

  • Provide advanced diagnosis at system, application and infrastructure level for the system.
  • cCarry out root-cause analysis for major and recurring incidents and own the permanent fix.
  • Open and manage OEM back-to-back support cases under the same ticket and SLA clock.
  • Own configuration, firmware and software maintenance and coordinate manufacturer releases and upgrades.
  • Own the preventive-maintennace procedures and predictive monitoring for the system.
  • Maintain the design documents, SOPs and knowledge base: mentor and sign off Level-3 competence.
  • Provide technical assessments to the Change Advisory Board for changes to the system.
  • Own network design-level troubleshooting, firmware strategy, capacity and major change: lead Aruba/HPE back-to-back.

Requirements

  • Aruba (ACMP/ACEP) or Cisco (CCNP).
  • ITIL Foundation.
  • 7+ years senior network engineering experience.
