Job Description

Role Overview: Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java backend development and Angular front-end development who is passionate about hands-on coding and leveraging AI-powered development tools to improve productivity, code quality, testing, and delivery speed.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Build responsive and modern web applications using Angular. Develop RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures. Perform hands-on coding, code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization. Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Utilize AI-powered development tools to: Accelerate coding and debugging. Generate unit and integration test cases. Improve documentation and code quality. Assist in refactoring and modernization initiatives. Implement secure, scalable, and resilient application architectures. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and DevOps processes. Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.

AI & Modern Engineering Expectations The candidate should demonstrate the ability to effectively use AI tools in the software development lifecycle, AI-assisted code generation and optimization. Automated documentation generation. Unit test generation and coverage improvement. Root cause analysis and debugging support. Productivity acceleration while ensuring code correctness and security. Prompt engineering skills for software development use cases. Critical evaluation and validation of AI-generated code

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $96366 to $150000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
