Visual Designer, Android XR

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 4 years of visual design experience in product design or UX/UI design.

• Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.

• 1 year of experience leading design projects.

• Portfolio demonstrating experience in hardware/software interaction design, design systems, and mobile UX.

• Familiarity with motion design and 3D tools.

• Expertise in design tools like Figma.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

• Develop and collaborate on visual design projects across the portfolio of XR devices and experiences, developing user-centric solutions within a novel and fast-developing product space.

• Communicate designs to build excitement and consensus across teams, and gain support for design strategy across stakeholders.

• Deliver polished, exceptional design executions that set the bar for great design and align with brand and established UX patterns.

• Partner closely with cross-functional teams (across UXD, VisD, UXE, UXR, PM, Eng) to envision, prioritize, develop, prototype and execute designs.

• Build and document design solutions that effectively scale within the XR platform.
