We are looking for a candidate:
- With a strong background in project management and a desire to work in a TEAM environment with support and input from multiple angles that values safety above all else.
- With the ability to prioritize, schedule, and logistically manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Who will collaborate with the team to facilitate new building construction/renovation projects.
The Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Identify and manage the project risks.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to determine the specifications of the project
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
- Oversee the work of contractors, laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
- Embed a strong safety culture in the project team, contractors and workers on site.
- Follow up on projects to ensure proper execution.
- Prepare and implement progress reports on projects.
- Commission and Handover Projects
- Follow up on punch lists to verify projects are completed and coordinated with all stakeholders.
- Process Pay Applications and Invoices
- Build and update project construction schedules
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of experience in industrial/commercial project management.
- Organizational and project management skills, along with effective communication skills.
- Skilled at managing contractors and consultants.
- Experience in delivering projects on time and within budget.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the wire manufacturing industry is a plus
- Has basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, building systems, utilities, and repair procedures relating to facilities management as well a life safety monitoring and control systems for equipment.
- Good computing and software skills
