Brief info about Vinted
Our mission is to make second-hand the first choice, and we're looking for people who want to help us get there. Every day, we work together to help our members buy and sell pre-loved clothing and lifestyle items, giving each piece a second life – or even a third. The Vinted Group is made up of three business units that support this mission:
Vinted Marketplace is Europe’s leading platform for second-hand fashion and a go-to destination for all kinds of pre-loved items, with a growing range of categories. Our platform connects millions of members across 20+ markets, helping great items find a new life.
Vinted Go enhances the shipping experience with a vast network of over 500,000 pick-up and drop-off points, partnering with more than 60 carriers across Europe, with added services like item verification for peace of mind on high-value pieces.
Vinted Pay is the newest part of the Vinted Group, dedicated to bringing secure, reliable payments to buyers and sellers across Europe. Seamlessly integrated into the Vinted app, it helps keep every transaction safe, efficient, and easy for our members.
Founded in 2008 in Lithuania, Vinted began as a way for friends to find new homes for clothes they no longer needed. In 2019, we became Lithuania's first unicorn! Today, our headquarters remain in Vilnius, and we've grown with offices across Europe, supported by a team of over 2,000 people.
Information about the position
At Vinted, our iOS engineers are integral members of cross-functional product teams, which include Mobile, Web, Backend engineers, QA, a product manager, a designer, and a decision scientist.
The Order domain encompasses all the processes and contexts related to the end-to-end lifecycle of the Order - from order creation through shipment, fulfilment, order management, finance, and resolution - managing the systems that keep orders moving where order operations and real-world complexity meet software.
We’re looking for an iOS Engineer to strengthen the team focused on Order Management and Order Finance: managing the lifecycle of the order from creation to completion and refunds (Order Management, Refunds, Releases, Compensations). Our mission is simple: make order lifecycle and order-related financial flows seamless for users and downstream systems. Join us to work on large-scale projects and help make second-hand the first choice!
We want someone who enjoys building reliable systems with a pragmatic mindset, can balance short-term delivery with long-term stability, and is excited to own production outcomes together with the team (quality, availability, and measurable impact).

In this position, you’ll
- Design and implement robust, high-performance iOS capabilities using Swift, leveraging modern concurrency with Async/Await and native UI frameworks like SwiftUI (while supporting our ongoing transition from UIKit)
- Work closely with mobile, backend, data, and product peers to design end-to-end solutions
- Deliver rich, consistent features using our shared DSKit (Design System Kit) while ensuring a smooth, frictionless user experience and navigating privacy, performance, and platform constraints
- Develop within a highly decoupled, modular environment managed by Tuist and Swift Package Manager (SPM), utilizing architectures like MVVM or Clean Swift to maintain clean boundaries and team autonomy
- Leverage feature flags, staged rollouts, and metrics to release changes safely and evaluate their real-world impact
- Apply Agile and Lean principles and collaborate with other developers through GitHub pull requests, using automated workflows like Danger, SwiftLint, SwiftFormat, and Sourcery to keep code quality high
- Be ready to partner across teams to decommission shared layers, establish clean boundaries, and prioritize deliverables.
- Provide direct and impactful feedback in team functions (like design reviews or RFCs) and actively seek feedback from team members to grow
About you
- Experience building and maintaining iOS applications in Swift, with a track record of delivering features and making team-level decisions
- You are able to spot systemic risks and hidden coupling, prioritizing tasks with product risk and future maintenance costs in mind (avoiding both under-fixing and over-engineering)
- Deeply care about testing, performance, and clean architecture.
- You drive discussions, demonstrate mature alignment, and work with other engineers through constructive feedback and technical trade-off reasoning
- You are willing to grow in using AI-assisted coding tools to improve the workflow and efficiency, while critically evaluating suggestions.
- You’re comfortable working in metrics and data‑driven environments, not just shipping features
- You are willing to learn and excel at new technologies and concepts
- You love to improve things, and if you see something that needs improvement, you actively bring it to the table
- You enjoy collaboration and being part of the team
- You can engage in constructive and healthy discussions, expressing your views openly, while maintaining respect and professionalism towards colleagues
