The project manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of the project while remaining aligned with the strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization.

Job responsibilities & duties:

  • Define project scope, establish SMART goals, and create detailed work plans, timelines, and milestones.
  • Oversee new location openings, room buildouts, and equipment installation.
  • Assemble project teams, delegate tasks to the most suitable personnel, and manage both labor and material resources.
  • Forecast costs, allocate funds, and track ongoing expenses to prevent budget overruns.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks, develop contingency plans, and troubleshoot obstacles that arise during execution.
  • Mitigate risks to the project and leverage opportunities.
  • Serve as the main point of contact, updating internal and external stakeholders on project progress while managing expectations.
  • Ensure all final deliverables meet all company, operational, OSHA, HIPAA, and state dental board standards.
  • Additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project coordination, management, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience specifically in multi-site operations.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities, strong financial acumen, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time management and multitasking skills. Ability to concurrently manage multiple projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with standard office software, especially Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas), and other Microsoft products
  • Travel is required.
  • Hold a valid state driver's license.
  • Pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within a Dental Support Organization (DSO), healthcare network, or construction is a plus.
  • Experience with space planning, and strong grasp of architectural drawings
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) are highly valued.

Working Hours/ Location:

  • Based out of: 1700 W Higgins Rd Des Plaines, IL 60018; Onsite
  • When not traveling, work from our Headquarters (HQ).
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday.
  • Typical hours are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on business needs. Schedules may vary, such as 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.
  • Work-from-home opportunities may be available after 90 days, based on workload and business needs.
