Grossman Young & Hammond LLC (GYH) is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the firm. This role combines data analysis, reporting, workflow automation, and systems support to improve operations and connect business needs with practical technical solutions.

Responsibilities include:
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve firm operations
- Designing and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models
- Gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating business needs into effective reporting solutions
- Extracting and integrating data from systems, databases, APIs, and linked data sources to improve reporting accuracy
- Translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations for users and leadership
Workflow Automation and Systems Support
- Developing tools, scripts, and workflows using Power Automate and Power Apps to automate data processing, create interactive forms and streamline reporting
- Improving reports, dashboards, systems, and processes for efficiency, scalability, and usability
- Ensuring data is captured accurately and consistently in accordance with cybersecurity, privacy, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Participating in risk, change, and configuration management activities
- Developing and maintaining system documentation, procedures, and user guides
IT Coordination and Operational Support
- Serving as the firm’s technical lead and liaison with its managed IT service provider
- Collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to support firm initiatives and secure, reliable systems
- Providing technical and data-related guidance to users and leadership
- Assisting and providing backup to the Billing and Accounting Manager as needed
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports, using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in Power BI, including data visualization, dashboard development, and reporting
- Proficiency in Power Automate for workflow customization and Power Apps to streamline data collection
- Strong Excel data analysis skills
- Knowledge of database design, data structures, data models, and data workflows
- Working knowledge of operating systems, networks, databases, and enterprise applications
- Ability to interpret business requirements and policies and translate them into technical or data-driven solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems-thinking skills
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences
- Precise attention to detail and disciplined documentation practices
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $65,000 - $75,000 (commensurate with experience)
Benefits include: PTO, paid holidays, 401(k) with firm contribution, paid parental leave, and excellent healthcare options
Work Schedule
Full-time 40 hours/week Hybrid: If located within a fifty-mile radius of the office, work is completed in the office one day per week.
