CSA Project Manager at atNorth
atNorth is now looking for a skilled and driven CSA Project Manager to join our project team in Haugesund and Development team in Norway.
As a CSA Project Manager, you will manage the end-to-end delivery of the Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) scope for our data center construction projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, design consultants, and site contractors. Your leadership will ensure that foundational, structural, building envelope, and architectural works meet rigorous standards, stay on schedule, and align seamlessly with overall operational goals.
This is a great opportunity to play a pivotal role in large-scale, high-impact data center developments across the Nordics.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate site-based CSA construction activities, contractors, and site personnel on a day-to-day basis.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all civil, structural, and architectural design, procurement, and execution status.
- Develop and manage integrated project schedules for the CSA scope, identify critical paths, and proactively mitigate construction risks.
- Maintain daily overview and control over site schedule, site safety, structural quality, and civil work progress.
- Oversee procurement, package preparation, and contract negotiations for CSA contractors, groundworks, and suppliers in collaboration with Procurement leadership.
- Monitor installation quality and ensure civil and architectural execution strictly complies with approved drawings, structural calculations, and building codes.
- Coordinate closely with internal Design, MEP, Security, Operations, and Commissioning teams to ensure seamless interface management.
- Produce decision-gate documentation, cash flow forecasts, and regular progress reporting in line with atNorth governance processes.
- Champion a “Safety First” culture on site and ensure full compliance with atNorth HSE standards and local Norwegian regulations.
- Support handover activities, ensuring all structural, architectural, and civil deliverables meet final quality standards.
Your profile:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project or construction management, with a primary focus on Civil, Structural, and Architectural scopes.
- Relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or similar.
- Proven track record managing complex or large-scale civil/structural packages on multi-million Euro projects on time and within budget.
- Deep knowledge of Norwegian building codes, permitting processes, structural execution standards, and health & safety regulations.
- Direct experience with Design & Build contracts and Norwegian contract standards.
- Experience from data centers, industrial facilities, heavy infrastructure, or other complex construction environments (data center experience is an advantage).
- Strong interface management skills to ensure smooth coordination between CSA civil packages, architectural layouts, and MEP systems.
- Structured and detail-oriented with strong organizational, change management, and risk mitigation skills.
- Proactive, solution-oriented leader with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluent in English and Norwegian, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to work on-site daily in Haugesund.
