Responsibilities

The Technical Product Manager - Data Products is responsible for the roadmap, adoption, value realization, and lifecycle management of enterprise data products in alignment with organizational priorities, business objectives, and the strategic direction established by Data & Analytics leadership.

Partnering across business, technology, analytics, governance, and engineering teams, this role defines and delivers trusted, scalable, and reusable data capabilities that enable decision-making, operational excellence, personalization, and AI-driven outcomes. The Technical Product Manager - Data Products serves as the bridge between business strategy and data execution, translating organizational priorities into governed, high-value data products. This role is accountable for product vision, backlog prioritization, stakeholder alignment, adoption, and value realization while ensuring data products remain reliable, secure, and aligned with enterprise objectives.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Guides the full lifecycle of enterprise data products and data capabilities from ideation through implementation, adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement.
  • Owns and continuously evolves product vision, roadmaps, adoption plans, release priorities, and product success metrics.
  • Partners with business stakeholders to identify data needs, define requirements, and translate complex business challenges into scalable data and analytics solutions.
  • Understands and prioritizes the needs of data product consumers including Marketing, Lending, Member Service, Digital Banking, Risk, Finance, and Analytics teams.
  • Conducts research and analysis to understand user needs, data trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborates with data engineering, business intelligence, analytics, governance, and technology teams throughout design, development, testing, implementation, and enhancement efforts.
  • Establishes and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and product success metrics to evaluate adoption, effectiveness, and business impact.
  • Defines and tracks business value metrics including adoption, operational efficiency, revenue enablement, member experience improvements, and data reuse.
  • Promotes data governance, accessibility, quality, discoverability, lineage, and stewardship to ensure enterprise data products remain trusted and reusable across the organization.
  • Identifies opportunities to enable machine learning, generative AI, and intelligent automation through trusted and reusable enterprise data products.
  • Prioritizes product backlogs and enhancement opportunities in coordination with Data & Analytics leadership, balancing enterprise priorities, stakeholder needs, resource capacity, user feedback, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Leads stakeholder engagement, change management, and communication efforts to drive adoption and maximize the value of data products across the organization.
  • Partners with business owners and data stewards to establish authoritative definitions, ownership, and quality standards for critical enterprise data domains.

This role serves as the bridge between business strategy and data capabilities, ensuring data products deliver meaningful insights, support operational excellence, and enable data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
  • Visually able to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
  • Ability to sit for extended time periods
  • Sufficient manual skill for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment
  • Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
  • Ability to exert minimum amounts of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects

This figure serves as the entry point in our salary range, and there is potential for the actual salary to be higher based on a variety of factors, such as your experience, skills, education, and location. We believe in recognizing and rewarding talent, so our compensation packages are thoughtfully designed to reflect the unique qualifications and contributions of each candidate.

The minimum salary for this position is:

$82,000.00+/yr Certifications
