The Product Manager, Rare Disease, will be responsible for driving the commercial success of the Rare Disease portfolio in the local market. Working closely with KAMs, Medical Affairs, and Market Access colleagues, this role develops and executes strategic and tactical marketing plans, supports successful product launches, and delivers sales objectives. The incumbent also builds strong relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals to drive disease awareness and optimize patient access.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of Medison Croatia’s Rare Disease portfolio and business strategy, identifying new opportunities.
- Maximize product performance through effective planning and execution.
- Deliver agreed on business plans and company initiatives.
- Build strong cross-functional and partner relationships.
- Participate in partner meetings, training sessions, and conferences.
- Prepare and execute product launches.
- Develop and update promotional and communication materials.
- Manage sales forecasting, demand planning, and performance tracking.
- Oversee and monitor the Advertising & Promotion budget.
- Initiate disease awareness programs and market research when needed.
- Organize and participate in congresses, symposiums, webinars, and company events.
- Collaborate closely with Medical and Market Access teams.
- Foster partnerships with patient associations and key stakeholder groups.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and policies.
- Participate in company and partner training programs.
- Monitor market trends, risks, opportunities, and competitor activities, and adapting strategies accordingly.
Requirements
- Preferably a Master's degree in Life Sciences (Medicine, Biology, Chemistry) or Economic Sciences.
- 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a commercial role, ideally within a company with innovative products and experience in a startup environment.
- Proven success in leading marketing activities or managing a multi-brand portfolio.
- Experience launching innovative products.
- Strong market analysis capabilities.
- Established reputation in the market, with strong relationships among stakeholders in the relevant therapeutic areas.
