Scope

 

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of Blue Yonder's next-generation cloud-native Supply Chain Data Platform.
• The role involves architecting scalable, secure, and highly available microservices, collaborating with global product and engineering teams, and driving technical excellence across the software development lifecycle.
• The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on development expertise with architecture, mentoring, and operational excellence.

What you'll do

 

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of Blue Yonder's next-generation Supply Chain Data Platform using cloud-native microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Professional Services, and global engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions.
• Drive engineering excellence through clean code, architecture reviews, performance optimization, code reviews, CI/CD improvements, automation, and operational best practices.
• Mentor engineers, contribute to hiring, lead technical discussions, resolve production challenges through root cause analysis, and continuously improve platform reliability, scalability, and developer productivity.
• Participate in the engineering on-call rotation, providing backend support, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvements to platform reliability.

 

What we are looking for

• 8 to 10 years of strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, OAuth, Kafka, Snowflake, and cloud-native application development on Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms.
• Proven experience designing and building scalable, resilient, multi-tenant SaaS platforms using distributed microservices, event-driven architecture, Kubernetes, Docker, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Big Data and distributed technologies such as Snowflake, Spark, Scala, Elasticsearch, NoSQL/RDBMS, along with performance tuning and high-availability architectures.
• Strong technical leadership with experience in software architecture, secure coding, mentoring engineers, code reviews, stakeholder collaboration, Agile development, and driving continuous improvement across engineering teams.
