Accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain backend applications and software systems using Java and Spring Boot, following project specifications and technical requirements.

• Design and implement software architectures that support scalability, performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code aligned with development standards and engineering best practices.

• Test, debug, and troubleshoot applications to identify and resolve defects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and customer satisfaction.

• Work with relational and non-relational databases, optimizing data access and supporting efficient application performance.

• Monitor production systems, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain system stability and reliability.

• Collaborate with development teams, providing technical guidance and supporting the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

• Research and adopt new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve software performance and development efficiency.

• Contribute to technical documentation, code maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Participate in agile development processes and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business needs.

Requirements:

• Experience in backend software development using Java, including Java 6, Java 11, or later versions, and Spring Boot.

• Solid understanding of software architecture and software engineering principles, which are essential for this position.

• Knowledge of relational databases such as Sybase, SQL, and MySQL, as well as non-relational technologies such as Firestore and Elasticsearch.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools and practices for identifying performance issues and maintaining production systems.

• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and collaborative software development workflows.

• Knowledge of software development frameworks, programming principles, and best practices for building scalable applications.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies and agile methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

• A proactive mindset, attention to code quality, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable.

• Relevant certifications in programming languages, cloud technologies, or agile methodologies are considered a plus.
