The brand design team is responsible for the visual strategy of Motorola Solutions, bringing to life the company’s rich history in innovation and commitment to help keep communities and businesses safe, productive and thriving. Our customers are everyday heroes – from police officers and firefighters to utility workers and educators – and we proudly tell their stories through thoughtful campaigns that span marketing, internal/external communications, web experience and events.
Our Creative Studio is in search of a Senior Graphic Designer to work in both digital and print media who is highly-skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and Google Suite. Job Description
You will drive and inspire creative storytelling concepts through your passion for visual design, experience in collaborative work environments and your effective communication skills. Attention to detail is key and as a highly-skilled designer, you will provide guidance on creative strategy and deliver impactful and beautiful designs with the utmost quality. You will ensure all projects align with our business needs and brand voice and style.
Be Visual
- Translate concepts into visual storytelling and creative concepts.
- Work within Motorola Solutions’, established design guidelines and collaborate with team members to ensure consistency across designs.
- Prepare and present work to internal teams including senior leadership.
- Be a primary creative voice and advocate of the Motorola Solutions brand.
- Present and defend creative work to marketing and corporate teams.
- Ensure quality, visual and brand standards are met.
- Lead the creative design and execution of trade show graphics, presentations, brochures, emails, icons and illustrations.
Be Conceptual
- Collaborate and brainstorm with business partners to understand, identify and collect requirements to creatively execute design concepts.
- Inspire and bring new ideas to the team through creative thought leadership.
- Provide solutions based on research and sharing of current trends that will elevate our design.
- Continually grow familiarity with new and developing creative design technologies, tactics and strategies.

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience
- Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, Google Suite
- Deep experience in pre-production and file preparation techniques for print design
- Knowledge and experience in editorial design and typography
- Knowledge and experience of illustration, infographic, and icon design principles
- Practical knowledge in LightRoom, Adobe Acrobat, FinalCut Pro, Adobe Premiere
- Practical knowledge of basic photographic and video production principles
- Strong organizational skills in maintaining files, file naming and version control
- Superior communication skills
- Excellent project management skills; organized, able to multitask and work under condensed deadlines
- Ability to own projects and seek out answers from stakeholders
- High energy with a desire to learn and a drive to excel.
- Passionate and motivated team player.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- B2B marketing experience a plus.
- Must have online portfolio or samples of work showing relevant experience.
