SUMMARY 

The Solutions Engineer role will primarily focus on the design, planning and executing of builds and migrations to and from Microsoft cloud infrastructure including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Azure Files. In addition, the Solutions Engineer will participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of on-premises and cloud hosted Windows server environments.This role requires a passion for data and technology, a thorough understanding of the Microsoft Azure Platform, On premise server environments, excellent communication skills, an understanding of business processes and best practices for Microsoft tools, and the ability to support the platforms using industry standard tools in multiple environments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Designing, planning, and executingdata migrations to various storage platforms (Azure File, SharePoint, Egnyte)  
  • Designing, planning, and executingAzureADmigrations.  
  • Supporting andmaintainingvarious Microsoft Azure tenants.
  • Supporting andmaintainingvarious Microsoft 365 tenants.  
  • Supporting andmaintainingon-premises messaging platforms.  
  • Supporting andmaintainingvariousphysical serverinfrastructure.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Requires the skills to design or have experience in designing and executing workload migrations.  
  • Experience with Windows Servers and Active Directory.  
  • Experience withAzureADand Intune/Endpoint Manager.  
  • Experience with on-premises Exchange and Office 365.  
  • Experience withon-premisesto Office 365 migrations as well as cloud to Office 365 migrations.  
  • Experience with cloud-based services, specifically Azure and Office 365.  
  • Experience withMicrosoft Power Platform applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Purviewsolutions.
  • Experience in conceptualizing and implementing data models for reporting anddata analysis.
  • Process oriented (plan, analyze, design, implement & support).  
  • Ability tointerface withall levels of the organization (technical and non-technical). 
  • Excellent organizational, communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.  
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.  
  • Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 certifications are desirable.  
  • VMWare,Omnissa,andHyper-V experience is desirable.  

WORKING CONDITIONS + REQUIREMENTS  Working conditions may be typical for an office environment and will require: 

  • Occasional work weeksof more than40 hours.   
  • May require occasional evening and weekend work.  
  • Reliable transportation is necessary for this role and requires a valid driver’s license and valid car insurance.
