Overview
In this role, you will be working as a key member of the Customer platform team within IT department, driving new capabilities in our CRM Systems to enable our global Sales and Service organization. Your role is to design and implement technical solutions adhering to salesforce platform standards and Waters architecture guidelines. Contribute as a core team member on multiple Salesforce initiatives in Sales and/or Service cloud including design, development, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support. Apply your expertise in the Salesforce configuration, Apex development, and Visual Force to launch new capabilities to our commercial systems.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop technical solutions leveraging Apex Programming Language and Visual Force as needed
- Collaborate with internal team members and other stakeholders in the evaluation, selection, and deployment of salesforce solutions.
- Perform Salesforce configuration and customization to support process automation including workflows rules, process builder, flows, page layouts, record types, objects, etc..
- Perform Unit Testing and Defect Fixes
- Contributes to cross-functional projects that involve integration between Salesforce and other applications.
- Maintain compliance with corporate Access Control, Change Management, and SDLC policies.
- Work with scrum team members to identify root causes of production issues and propose/configure solutions.
- Conduct code reviews with developers to ensure proper coding standards and approaches are being followed.
Responsible for Salesforce custom code performance and making sure the solutions are scalable
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related experience
- 2+ years of experience in software development
- 2 - 5 years of experience in Salesforce development
- Expertise in administering Salesforce declarative tools including Workflows, Flows, page layouts, and record types and Proficient in Apex Programming Language, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs, with a strong understanding of platform best practices and governor limits.
- Ability to conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and build scalable, high-performance custom solutions with a focus on maintainability and reusability.
- Excellent technical skills with good business acumen
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Familiarity with Agile development practices. Previous experience working in an agile environment preferred.
- Administrator, Platform Developer I , Platform App Builder certifications preferred
