Job Details: Level: Management, Job Location: Dynamis The Woodlands Corporate Office - The Woodlands, TX, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: 4 Year Degree, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Travel Percentage: Up to 25%, Job Shift: Day, PDM Engineering Manager Job Description Department: Engineering Job Status: Full-Time FLSA Status: Salary, Exempt Reports To: Director of Mechanical Engineering Location: Houston, TX (The Woodlands Area) Amount of Travel Required: Up to 20% Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Positions Supervised: PDM Engineers AIP Level: 5 POSITION SUMMARY: The PDM Engineering Manager leads execution of the product data management function for Dynamis Power Solutions. This role partners with core engineering branches, integration, manufacturing, third party engineering firms, and shared services, particularly Digital, to support product data management activities, complete data packages, and engineering change processes. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may") Execute the product data management strategy, including interfaces with ERP and engineering tools. Ensure engineering drawings and prints are accessible and properly tracked. Ensure first article and sustained products maintain complete data packages. Lead the engineering change request (ECR) process. Collaborate with engineering, integration, and manufacturing teams to maintain data package integrity while meeting accelerated timelines. Partner with Quality, Supply Chain, Accounting, Digital, and other Shared Services to support compliant, efficient, and process aligned business needs. Ensure teams perform work in accordance with safety processes, standard operating procedures, and site specific policies. Ensure training and continued learning within product data management. Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity. Qualifications: POSITION REQUIREMENTS Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship. Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Overtime based on business needs. Successfully passes all applicable general pre employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre employment drug screening, pre employment fit tests, pre employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s). Daily in person, predictable attendance. Valid U.S. Driver’s License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3 year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy. Proficiency in spoken English language. Ability to travel based on business needs. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL Required Four year technical bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering. An equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and relevant professional experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree. Three or more years of relevant product data management experience. Three or more years of supervisory experience. Preferred Mobile turbine packaging experience. Knowledge of aero and industrial turbines. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES Attend, participate in, and successfully complete scheduled New Hire Safety training, including H2S, Powered Industrial, and basic First Aid and CPR training. Attend and successfully complete annual safety and operations recertification training. Communicate technical information with clients. Work successfully within a team environment to complete assigned tasks. Demonstrate strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Remain knowledgeable of and compliant with Active Learner, Paycom, KPA, and other company mandated systems. Quickly learn and navigate company platforms. Take instruction well and interact positively with other employees within assigned work groups. Efficiently use Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. When required to visit a wellsite, the work environment may include exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions, audio levels up to 85 dB, inclement weather, and extreme temperatures (both hot and cold). Given these conditions, employees visiting a pad site are required to wear company mandated and company issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including fire retardant coveralls, safety hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection, and impact gloves, and must strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Employees must be able to independently lift 25 lbs. Work hours may include or includes early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
