The role will have primary responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of core finance processes, including client billing, job and purchase order management, revenue support, financial reporting, estimates, and month-end and quarter-end activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with Commercial Finance, Operations, Production, and other business stakeholders to ensure financial processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed timelines.

The role is well suited to a finance professional with 4–5 years of experience who is comfortable managing recurring finance activities independently and is interested in developing broader commercial finance and analytical capabilities over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Billing & Revenue Operations
  • Independently manage recurring client billing activities, ensuring accurate and timely submission of invoices.
  • Create, maintain, and close jobs in Maconomy in accordance with business and billing requirements.
  • Monitor billing status and follow up with relevant stakeholders to resolve outstanding items.
  • Prepare and maintain revenue backup and supporting documentation.
  • Complete required revenue-related activities, including AIDI commentary and revenue backup submissions.
  • Maintain accurate records of final invoices and supporting files.
  • Investigate and resolve routine billing and revenue queries, escalating complex issues where appropriate.
  • Ensure billing and revenue processes are completed within agreed monthly and quarterly deadlines.
  • Purchase Order & Intercompany Management
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of Intercompany POs in line with revenue processing timelines.
  • Track outstanding POs and proactively follow up with stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate PO records and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure POs are available and correctly aligned with billing and revenue requirements.
  • Respond to routine PO queries and coordinate resolution of discrepancies.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and audit trails for PO-related activities.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Download and distribute weekly burn reports with Department heads
  • Update actuals and financial information using relevant finance and operational systems, including Maconomy and Xytech.
  • Provide timely financial information and commentary to Finance and business stakeholders.
  • Estimates & Commercial Finance Support
  • Manage the preparation and creation of quarterly and ad-hoc estimates.
  • Maintain supporting schedules and financial models used for estimates and reporting.
  • Support quarterly planning, forecasting, and other commercial finance activities as required.
  • Finance Operations & Controls
  • Complete recurring month-end and quarter-end finance activities within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain and update Forex rates and other relevant finance master data.
  • Maintain invoice distribution lists and other billing-related information.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to obtain and process required payroll information.
  • Ensure financial files, reports, invoices, POs, and supporting documentation are properly maintained.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, simplify, and automate recurring finance processes.
  • Ensure appropriate controls and documentation are maintained across all assigned activities.

Broader Commercial Finance Opportunities

  • Regional and global Finance teams
  • Production and Operations teams
  • Account and Client Services teams
  • Payroll and HR teams
