Overview

Silotech Group provides Advanced Cybersecurity and Intelligence Solutions, Digital Transformation and Modernization, Emerging Technology Solutions, Enterprise/Cloud IT Services and Products, and Managed Security Services to Federal, State, and Commercial clients. We provide Federal Government and Commercial clients with customized, agile technical solutions focused on data, enterprise platforms, service engagement, and customer workforce development through trust-driven and collaborative relationships. Our vision is to help customers achieve their most challenging goals by unifying innovation, integrity, and exemplary services and products.

We are seeking an experienced QA/Test Engineer to own quality assurance across our AI-powered operational intelligence platform, spanning both Salesforce and non-Salesforce SaaS implementations. This role is critical to delivery confidence as we scale across an increasing number of concurrent government and commercial contracts.

The ideal candidate is comfortable testing across the full stack, unit, integration, regression, and system-level testing, and has hands-on experience with both Salesforce implementations (managed packages, Apex, configuration) and traditional non-Salesforce SaaS applications. This position is ideal for a tester who takes ownership of test planning and documentation, not just test execution, and who can maintain clear, current test plans and test results across several projects running in parallel.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Location

Remote / Hybrid (US Domestic)

Clearance

Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance preferred

Essential Role and Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and update test plans and test cases across multiple concurrent projects
  • Execute unit, integration, regression, and system-level testing across Salesforce and non-Salesforce SaaS implementations
  • Document and track test results, defects, and coverage in a clear, current, and audit-ready form
  • Design and execute regression test suites to protect existing functionality as new features ship
  • Validate Salesforce-specific implementations, including managed package behavior and configuration changes
  • Validate integrations and data flows across non-Salesforce SaaS systems (e.g., Outlook, AWS-hosted services)
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce, document, and verify the resolution of defects
  • Participate in sprint planning and refinement to identify testable acceptance criteria early
  • Prioritize and sequence testing effort across several active projects based on risk and release timelines
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes, tooling, and documentation standards

What You'll Work On

  • Test planning and documentation across several concurrent projects
  • Salesforce and non-Salesforce SaaS implementation testing
  • Unit, integration, regression, and system-level test execution
  • Defect tracking and resolution verification
  • Continuous improvement of QA process and tooling

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of professional QA/testing experience across unit, integration, regression, and system-level testing
  • Hands-on experience testing both Salesforce implementations and non-Salesforce SaaS applications
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain clear, thorough test plans and test result documentation
  • Experience testing across multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and timelines
  • Familiarity with Jira (or equivalent tooling) for test tracking and defect management
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases and regression risk
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving technical environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce testing tools and practices (e.g., Apex test classes, sandbox validation)
  • Experience supporting software delivery teams in a government contracting (GovCon) environment
  • Familiarity with AWS-hosted or AI/ML-enabled application testing
  • Experience supporting ATO, RMF, or related compliance/documentation efforts
  • Active or previously held U.S. Government security clearance
  • Experience supporting DoD, federal, or national security customers

Desired Traits

  • Ownership mentality; treats test plans and results as living, audit-ready documentation, not an afterthought
  • Comfortable managing testing responsibilities across several active projects at once
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented, with a healthy skepticism toward "it works on my machine"
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity as the program scales across contracts
