Overview: The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with the Company’s overall strategy and goals. This role is responsible for creating project plans, tracking progress, communicating with stakeholders, and removing any barriers that might prevent the success of the project being delivered on-time and on-budget.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analytics Platform Delivery: Orchestrate end-to-end technical projects to deploy, scale, and refine the analytics for delivering automated, decision-ready enterprise performance views.
  • AI Innovation Lifecycle: Manage the project lifecycle for the Internal AI Innovation Hub, guiding new automated agents and applications from rapid prototyping and pilot testing to full enterprise production.
  • Requirements Translation: Partner closely with US-based business leaders and local teams as needed to translate complex analytical goals into clear, executable project plans, scope definitions, and technical requirements.
  • Project Governance: Drive project execution, establish key milestones, monitor timelines, manage resources, and actively resolve risks or blockers for data engineering and development teams.
  • Compliance & Security: Adhere strictly to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s operating procedures to safeguard all data handled by our analytics platforms.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work with subject matter experts (SMEs), technical staff and others to ensure the operational success of projects and programs under management.
  • Scope & Risk Planning: Manage projects by defining scope, schedules, deliverables, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Status & Progress Tracking: Organize and lead project status updates, prepare and distribute progress reports, and correct deviations from project baselines.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ Years experience managing complex projects/programs, with at least 2-3 years focused on data engineering, analytics platforms, or AI/ML product delivery experience
  • Experience in a PMO at a healthcare highly preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to initiate and drive multiple projects simultaneously through to completion.
  • Strong project management skills including project initiation, project plan creation, resource allocation, time/schedule management, risk management, budget tracking, prioritization, and status reporting.
  • Ability to influence team members and business partners toward common goals.
  • Superior oral and written communications skills in order to clearly and effectively convey issues, reports, and other deliverables.
  • Ability to build trust and cultivate relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problem definition and resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of PMBOK/PMI project management principles and theories.
  • Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Project and/or Smartsheet a bonus.
  • Positive, professional, responsive, and solution-oriented attitude.

Education:

  • BS/BA degree from accredited college/university required; and
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification strongly preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time).
  • Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions.
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions.
  • Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.
