About the role

Reporting to the Director - Financial Planning & Analysis, you'll develop a comprehensive understanding of the business KPIs, processes and data with a focus on the CWSP and AVC SP marketing operations. In your role you will provide strategic guidance and analytical support to the marketing teams and work with the various business stakeholders to drive business performance. You will lead the marketing forecast and budget process and assist with shaping effective pay plans that hold the teams accountable to the corporate targets.

How You'll Shine

• Provide strategic guidance to the AVC SP and CWSP marketing teams

• Provide financial modelling and analytical support to the marketing teams

• Actively drive the weekly/monthly marketing forecast & annual budget process

• Provide effective KPI reporting to the various stakeholders and drive business performance (e.g. dashboards, month end reports)

• Assist with shaping effective pay plans that hold the teams accountable to the corporate targets

• Perform the calculation of month end accruals, prepare and review relevant journals for month end reporting

• Assist with the creation and ongoing management of insightful BI dashboards and reports (e.g. in Tableau / Excel)

• Actively review and improve existing information flows, define information and data requirements, and support the management of information and data to meet business needs while sustaining data integrity.

• Maintain and process monthly allocation journals as required

• Work with the business to develop innovative solutions to problems & suggest new ways of reporting, analysis and improving business processes.

• Assist in project work and feasibility studies

What You'll Bring

• Accounting or Finance related degree ideally with CPA/CA or equivalent qualification

• 5 years plus work experience in the field of Business Analysis, Data Science and/or Management Accounting / Finance

• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with senior management and business partners across all hierarchy levels

• Strong analytical mind set

• Meticulous attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and self-review

• Sound business acumen and strong analytical skills

• Advanced modelling skills using MS Excel

• Excellent data management skills

• Experience working with business intelligence reporting tools highly desirable (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
