JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate project execution with ongoing hotel operations to minimize disruption to guests and daily services
  • Control project budgets, schedules, and quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with HK building regulations and hotel require standards
  • Handle tender documentation, contract administration, and progress reporting
  • Plan renovation work schedules around peak operational hours to maintain normal business flow
  • Manage access logistics for material deliveries and waste disposal
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Housekeeping, Front Office, and F&B departments to ensure project alignment with operational needs and guest experience standards
  • Handle suspension of works for important events, meetings, or VIP arrivals in coordination with hotel management
  • Oversee essential services maintenance (e.g., fire safety, lifts) during project execution to prevent guest complaints or regulatory violations
  • Conduct site inspections with Engineering and SMT teams to monitor safety, workmanship, and operational impact
  • Prepare cost estimation, track expenditures, manage procurement and ensure projects remain within approved budgets
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by superior or Hotel Management

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

  • Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Architecture, Building Surveying, Building Services, M&E Engineering, or Construction Management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in hospitality/commercial sectors
  • Strong organization and coordination skills, problem-solving, communication, and ability to work independently under pressure
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
