Benefits
Full description
Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable broadband connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From households to small businesses, schools, hospitals, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve communities and organizations operating in places without dependable internet access.
As the product owner for AI enablement in this space, you will start by auditing how beta teams work today, mapping workflows, pain points, and repetitive manual tasks to identify the highest-impact opportunities for AI automation or augmentation. You will turn those opportunities into a clear, prioritized roadmap and partner with beta program leads, engineering, and AI teams to build, integrate, and deploy solutions. You will stay current on emerging generative AI models, agentic frameworks, and beta-specific AI tooling, and you will test, evaluate, and benchmark candidate tools against real team use cases to make informed build-versus-adopt recommendations. You will collaborate with the broader Amazon AI and beta communities to surface best practices, reuse existing solutions, and find opportunities to partner. To drive impact, you will lead and document trainings that drive adoption among beta program leads and the wider Experience Validation team.
Key job responsibilities Success in this role is measured by real, sustained impact on how your beta programs operate. You will establish clear KPIs for adoption and value—active user rates, time saved per task, output quality improvements, and cycle-time reduction—and track them over time to demonstrate ROI and guide your roadmap. You will use data and user feedback to iterate, retire what isn't working, and double down on what is. The ideal candidate is comfortable both exploring emerging AI technology and getting close to operational workflows to understand where the friction really is. You are a self-directed builder who thrives in ambiguity, communicates crisply, and is energized by using AI to help a fast-growing organization do more with less.
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - 5+ years of product management, technical program management, or equivalent experience owning products or programs end to end - Experience identifying process/workflow inefficiencies and delivering tooling or automation to address them - Hands-on familiarity with generative AI models and/or agentic workflows and how to apply them to real use cases - Experience defining KPIs, measuring outcomes, and using data to prioritize and demonstrate impact - Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive adoption and influence without authority
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with AI/ML technologies - Familiarity with beta, early-access, pilot, or experience-validation programs - Experience driving team-level tool adoption and change management - Background in connectivity, hardware, telecommunications, or other technical products - Experience partnering with engineering and applied-science teams to ship AI capabilities
