Full description

SAIC is seeking a Financial Business Analyst to join our team supporting a major state & local government customer. The Financial Business Analyst is responsible for providing input with pricing models and cost volumes to inform recompete strategy. Essential duties of this position include:

· Support and Review the basis of estimate (BOE) and cost narratives aligned with RFP requirements · Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses (e.g., staffing mixes, rate assumptions, fee strategies) to shape competitive bids. · Analyze historical program financials and operational performance to inform win themes, value propositions, and proposed efficiencies. · Assess financial viability of new offerings, tools, or services (e.g., new managed services, cloud migrations, analytics solutions) for the program. · Support pipeline and portfolio analysis (e.g., revenue and margin projections, risk/opportunity assessments). · Provide data-driven recommendations to support staffing decisions, investment in tools/technology, and process improvements that can strengthen SAIC's competitive position. · Help articulate the financial impact of solution changes (e.g., cloud migration of DR, automation, new service offerings) on both the current program and recompete posture.

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.

Typically, 3 -5+ years of experience in: o Financial analysis, program control, FP&A, or business analysis, and o Supporting government contracts within a defense, federal, state/local, or similar environment. · Experience contributing to recompetes, proposals, pricing, or capture activities strongly preferred. · Experience working directly with Program Management, Capture, and Business Development teams to support opportunity pursuit and portfolio growth. · Strong skills with: MS Office products and Microsoft SharePoint
