Job Description

What You’ll Do as a Property Operations Transformation Delivery Manager: 

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day: 

  • Lead and coordinate the delivery of Property Operations transformation initiatives, ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope, and aligned to business priorities. 
  • Develop and manage programme plans across multiple workstreams, tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery outcomes. 
  • Drive strong programme governance through reporting, steering committees, and stakeholder engagement, providing clear visibility of progress and performance. 
  • Support the implementation of new processes, systems, technologies, and ways of working, ensuring successful adoption across the function. 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, Procurement, Technology, Supply Chain, and Retail Operations to deliver transformation goals through collaboration and alignment. 
  • Champion continuous improvement by embedding best-practice programme management, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring benefits are realised from transformation initiatives. 

Qualifications

  • Experience within retail, construction, property or facilities management environments.
  • Experience managing complex projects or programmes within a transformation or operational environment.
  • Demonstrated experience translating strategic objectives into structured programmes, plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience working within programme governance and PMO frameworks, including reporting, risk management and stakeholder coordination.
  • Experience delivering organisational change and transformation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Strong governance, reporting and risk management capability.
  • Experience producing executive-level reporting and programme updates.
  • Excellent planning, prioritisation and organisational skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience facilitating governance forums and steering groups.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.
  • Relevant project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) desirable.
  • Change Management qualification (Prosci, APMG or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting operating model transformation.
  • Knowledge of new store development and refurbishment programmes.
  • Experience implementing technology-enabled change.

  • Proven ability in managing sensitive matters whilst ensuring all Primark information remains confidential to the business.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and a “can do” pro-active approach is essential.
  • Be a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal/communication skills, while demonstrating high levels of emotional intelligence and possess the ability to push back with professionalism.
  • Operates with a high level of integrity, diplomacy, tact and professionalism.
  • Ability to lead, influence and coach others.
  • Sound judgement, unquestionable ethics and integrity with high degree of transparency and trust.
