  • 1.0 SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Report financial status by preparing and analyzing financial plans, forecasts and reports.

2.0 REPORTS TO / SUPERVISES

Reports To: Controller

Supervises: N/A

3.0 RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will have the following general/minimum responsibilities:

  • Tracks financial status by monitoring variances from plan.
  • Determines financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results.
  • Improves financial status by analyzing results and variances, identifying trends, recommending actions.
  • Working on the preparation of quarterly reports, monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
  • Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
  • Increases productivity by developing automated applications; eliminating duplications and coordinating information requirements.
  • Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses and recommendations.
  • Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completed related results as needed.
  • Understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.

4.0 EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE

The following education, experience and knowledge are preferred for this position:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent business experience.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; maintain appropriate communications within area of responsibility and between divisions.
  • Sound administrative skills, well-developed management skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of the accounting software, financial software, knowledge of verifying and interpreting financial data and records.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.

5.0 WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require frequent weekend and evening work.
  • Frequent sitting and operating a computer.
