Job Description
The Technical QA & Testing team, within the Observability division, is responsible for designing and maintaining a QA testing framework that supports ITO project delivery and Service Operations.
We are seeking a passionate Full Stack Developer & Testing Engineer who will support our transformation journey through enhanced automation, AI-driven operations, and cloud transformation.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of the QA continuous integration infrastructure and automation landscape by building tools that enhance the efficiency, reliability, and quality of testing activities across the IT infrastructure.
This position is suited to a candidate with proven experience in building highly available, scalable, automated, and distributed systems, combined with solid full stack development and system administration expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to contribute constructively to technical design discussions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and continuously enhance the QA testing framework used by the QA & Testing team and related stakeholders
- Ensure that the QA & Testing framework is available 24/7
- Develop, maintain, and optimise test cases for cloud and hybrid service environments
- Support the continuous integration and ongoing engineering of the QA testing infrastructure
- Identify technical requirements and help implement effective and sustainable solutions
- Ensure that projects comply with defined quality standards and apply QA gates to enable a smooth transition from project delivery to run operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Windows and/or Unix system administrator
- Good working knowledge of scripting languages in Unix and Windows environments, including PowerShell and Bash
- Solid understanding of IT architectures and infrastructure concepts
- Good knowledge of SQL, with practical experience working with MySQL databases
- Good knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps best practices, with hands-on experience using Jenkins
- Good knowledge of Python
- Good knowledge of PHP, Laravel, and MVC frameworks
- Good knowledge of Git
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions
- Self-motivated, open-minded, goal-oriented, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Experience working in a mid-sized or large organisation
- Willingness to work on weekends when required
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Certifications in, or good knowledge of, OCI and IaC, as well as AI-related tools, are considered an asset
