Overview

Role Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline, ensuring alignment with client and business objectives. The role requires strong stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and cross-functional coordination skills, ideally within a telecom/technology delivery environment. (Sales domain exposure is a plus, such as sales planning & sales compensation)

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies
  • Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring timely delivery
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues; escalate as needed
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation across project phases
  • Facilitate regular status meetings (steering committee, sprint reviews, stakeholder syncs) and maintain MoMs/action trackers
  • Manage relationships with client stakeholders and internal delivery teams
  • Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, and compliance requirements
  • Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and financial trackers to leadership
  • Support presales/solutioning teams with delivery inputs where required

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred
  • PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile-Scrum certification preferred
  • Proven experience managing projects in telecom/IT services environment
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)
  • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, and multi-vendor coordination

Preferred Attributes

  • Telecom domain exposure (network operations, OSS/BSS, or managed services)
  • Sales domain exposure is a plus, such as sales planning & sales compensation
  • Experience working with global/distributed teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
