Through the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA), we support more than 5,000 government-owned sites across 48 South Australian Government agencies, including schools, hospitals, courts, police stations and community facilities.

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our AGFMA team, delivering infrastructure and facilities projects across metropolitan Adelaide and the South East region.

The Opportunity

This is a permanent full-time role offering significant autonomy, flexibility and variety.

You'll manage multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing delivery from concept through to completion while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

No two days are the same. You'll spend time collaborating with clients, coordinating contractors, visiting sites and managing project outcomes across a diverse government property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from planning through to delivery and close-out
  • Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders
  • Monitor budgets, schedules and project performance
  • Deliver projects in accordance with safety, quality and compliance requirements
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Facilitate site meetings, toolbox talks and project reviews
  • Provide accurate forecasting, reporting and project updates
  • Drive successful project outcomes while meeting contractual KPIs

About You

We're open to candidates from project management, construction, facilities management, maintenance, trade or contract administration backgrounds.

You'll bring:

  • Experience managing projects within construction, maintenance, facilities management or related industries
  • Strong stakeholder and contractor management skills
  • Experience overseeing project budgets, timelines and reporting
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Certificate or qualifications in Project Management (preferred)
  • Experience as a Site Supervisor, Project Coordinator or Contract Administrator will be highly regarded
