About The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Manager (Paint) to join Programmed Property Services, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of commercial painting projects across the North Adelaide region.
This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and right the first time, with a strong focus on site supervision, proactive communication and effective problem-solving to minimise rework and delays.
The Project Manager will manage multiple concurrent projects, requiring excellent time management and the ability to pivot between sites and priorities. Accurate project tracking and documentation using Fieldview and other Programmed management systems is essential.
A high standard of safety leadership is critical, with full responsibility for onsite HSEQ compliance and risk management. You will also play a key role in coordinating painters, subcontractors and other trades to ensure seamless delivery and positive working relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise multiple commercial painting projects and sites
- Coordinate and oversee painters, subcontractors and other trades
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality, workmanship and safety standards
- Liaise with builders, project managers and clients regarding progress, variations and scheduling
- Manage materials, labour allocation and project sequencing across multiple sites
- Ensure compliance with OH&S legislation, site safety requirements and Programmed safety processes
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to site teams to maintain productivity, engagement and quality outcomes
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
- Trade background or trade-based experience within construction or painting environments
- Proven project or site-based experience, managing multiple works concurrently
- Strong communication, leadership and conflict management skills
- Excellent planning, organisation and time management capabilities
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
- A valid Drivers licence
