Your mission

Servus und hallo bei uns hier in Sungrow! As a User Researcher, you will help shape user-centred, sustainable energy solutions across residential, commercial, and utility-scale applications. Curious what this is all about? Let’s dive right in:

  • Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, including interviews, usability tests, surveys, field studies, and on-site observations.
  • Identify European user needs, behaviours, pain points, and expectations across Sungrow’s energy solutions.
  • Analyse research findings and turn complex data into clear, practical insights for product and design teams.
  • Create and present structured research reports that advocate for the European user perspective across stakeholder groups.
  • Translate user challenges into opportunity areas and support design teams in developing intuitive, innovative solutions.
  • Build and maintain a user-research knowledge database while monitoring relevant regulatory, market, technology, and design trends.

Your profile

Sounds interesting, right? To feel confident, successful, and happy in this role, your ideal background could look like this:

  • Master’s degree in Service Design, Psychology, Interaction Design, UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of professional experience in user research, UX research, service design, or a comparable discipline.
  • Strong practical knowledge of research methods such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, diary studies, field research, and A/B testing.
  • Experience facilitating co-creation workshops and collaborating with cross-functional product, design, and business teams is a plus.
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to transform user feedback into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Clear, open, and proactive communication skills, with confidence presenting insights to diverse stakeholders.
  • English C1; German and Chinese language skills are a plus.
