Company Overview:

Global Technology Services (GTS) is a division of Lean Solutions Group, with technology operations based in Medellín, Colombia. We connect technology professionals with opportunities across the logistics, financial, and entertainment sectors, collaborating with engineering teams across Latin America and the United States.

Currently, we are seeking a Senior Salesforce QA Engineer / Test Lead to support a greenfield Salesforce implementation for a global security technology manufacturer. This role focuses on creating test scripts and performing quality assurance before customer user acceptance testing, using AI-assisted tools to accelerate test preparation and working closely with Slalom’s implementation team.

Position Title: Senior Salesforce QA Engineer / Test Lead

Category: Quality Assurance

Seniority: Senior

Location: Phillipines

What you will be doing:

You will work within a distributed Scrum team supporting a new Salesforce environment covering Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and the newer Revenue Cloud / Agentforce Revenue Management solution. The implementation primarily focuses on configure, price, and quote (CPQ) processes, beginning with an Australian business rollout and potential expansion into additional regions.

As the dedicated QA resource, you will lead test script preparation and execute testing to validate functionality before it is handed over for customer UAT. Testing is expected to begin primarily with manual execution, with opportunities to introduce automation as the project’s needs and tooling are defined.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of test scripts based on defined requirements, user stories, and approved solution designs.
  • Execute manual tests to validate Salesforce functionality before customer user acceptance testing.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate test script creation, reviewing and refining generated content to ensure meaningful coverage.
  • Identify, document, and communicate defects, working with functional consultants and developers to support resolution and retesting.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and architects to clarify expected behavior and resolve questions affecting test coverage.
  • Review and refine test scripts during execution to support their use in customer UAT.
  • Coordinate with the implementation and integration teams on testing dependencies and agreed end-to-end testing activities.
  • Communicate testing progress, defects, blockers, and readiness for handover within the Scrum team.
  • Contribute to evaluating opportunities for test automation as the project’s testing approach develops.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience in functional software testing, including test script creation, manual execution, defect reporting, and retesting.
  • Experience taking ownership of QA activities for an implementation or delivery workstream.
  • Ability to translate defined requirements and user stories into clear, executable test scenarios.
  • Comfort using AI-assisted tools to accelerate test script creation, with the ability to critically review and validate their output.
  • Ability to organize testing activities and communicate priorities, dependencies, and coverage gaps as the dedicated QA resource.
  • Ability to work within a Scrum team and collaborate with business analysts, architects, functional consultants, and developers.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with an international team.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday on an agreed schedule providing approximately two hours of overlap with the New Zealand team.
  • Experience testing Salesforce implementations, particularly Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Familiarity with Revenue Cloud / Agentforce Revenue Management or CPQ processes.
  • Experience introducing or maintaining automated tests.
  • Experience supporting integration testing across enterprise applications.
  • Experience supporting customer user acceptance testing.
  • Experience contributing to greenfield implementations or regional rollouts.

Soft Skills

  • Attention to detail: Identify inconsistencies and validate that implemented functionality meets defined requirements.
  • Ownership and reliability: Follow through on testing activities and maintain progress when working outside the New Zealand team’s hours.
  • Clear communication: Explain defects, testing outcomes, and blockers effectively to technical and functional team members.
  • Collaboration: Work constructively with the implementation team to investigate issues and support their resolution.
  • Critical thinking and adaptability: Evaluate AI-generated test content, question coverage gaps, and adapt as the testing approach develops.
