Renewables Certification (RC) belongs to business area Energy Systems (ES) with more than 6000 people globally. RC has the global responsibility for Type Certification (TC), Component Certification (CC) and Project Certification (PC) for Renewables within ES. Currently RC consists of 290+ experts with locations in Beijing, Boston, Copenhagen, Dresden, Esbjerg, Hamburg, Høvik, London, Busan, Shanghai and Taipei.
RC is the global market leader in the Renewables Certification market and is involved in 80% of Project Certification for offshore wind farms including offshore substations in the world.
Main responsibilities and qualifications
We are looking for project manager for wind turbine and its components. You will form part of a multi-disciplinary team working on onshore and offshore wind project management.
Your work will include some or all of the following depending on your competences:
- Project management activities for clients. Frequently communicate with clients in a clear, concise, and professional manner, presenting a professional company image to clients by email, phone, and in person, and identifying where additional services may be offered.
- Be responsible for the project for the entire project lifecycle and manage the projects.
- Coordinate a multi-disciplinary group of experts, often at different locations and time zones. Organize and, given relevant experience and qualification, participate in inspection of components manufacturing workshops and factory prototype testing.
- Support Bid Manager to prepare project proposals, budget development, and defining scopes of work. Manage deviations from scope with clients through clear communication over the phone and by email.
- Prepare necessary documents (e.g. reports, statements, certificates, etc.) for the project.
- Other duties assigned as needed.
