What you will be doing: The Manufacturing Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting, configuring, and improving ERP processes related to manufacturing operations, including production, scheduling, inventory, and shop floor execution. This role is essential to replacing manual processes with system-driven workflows and driving adoption of IFS Cloud across manufacturing teams. Responsibilities: Reviews and analyzes system problems to identify solutions or make referrals Plans, designs, analyzes and documents user requirements for development and/or support within manufacturing operations Works with operations teams to replace manual processes with ERP-driven workflows Configures and supports manufacturing modules of ERP including BOMs, routings, work orders, and scheduling Partner with engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate BOM and routing data Supports implementation of shop floor processes and system adoption Offers advice on process improvements and technical solutions in manufacturing Leads functional and regression testing for manufacturing-related processes and new system features impacting production, scheduling, and inventory Leads end-to-end user acceptance testing across production and operations teams Assists in developing training materials and maintains system documentation and user guides for manufacturing Plans and leads train-the-trainer sessions for operations personnel Provides level 2 support and troubleshooting for ERP-related manufacturing issues Works with planning, production, and inventory teams to optimize ERP usage Collaborates with development and integration teams on manufacturing-related integrations Leads cross-functional discussions between Operations, Supply Chain, and IT Prioritizes backlog items related to manufacturing enhancements and ERP changes Helps develop short- and long-term plans for system improvements across manufacturing Creates Proof of Concept (POC) scenarios for manufacturing process improvements Acts as a change agent to drive adoption of new processes and system capabilities Becomes a subject matter expert in manufacturing processes supported by the ERP system QualificationsRequirements:
B.S. in Information Technology, Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or related field
3–6 years of experience in ERP support, business analysis, or manufacturing systems
What you need:
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (production, scheduling, inventory, shop floor)
Experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Ability to create requirement documents across multiple operational areas
Ability to lead training sessions for operations teams
Experience with IFS Cloud or similar ERP platforms
Experience supporting ERP implementations or upgrades
Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), or shop floor systems
Knowledge of demand planning, forecasting, and supply chain processes
Experience supporting integrations between ERP and operational systems
Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel, SharePoint, Visio, etc.)
Working knowledge of project management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
Automotive aftermarket experience is a plus
