This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Analyst based in India.
This role offers the opportunity to translate business needs into practical technology solutions within a healthcare-focused environment.You will work closely with business users, technology teams, vendors, and stakeholders to understand requirements and shape effective application solutions.The position combines business process analysis, functional design, documentation, user engagement, and application support.You will contribute to new development initiatives, enhancements, rollouts, and continuous improvements while ensuring solutions meet agreed scope and quality standards.The role provides significant exposure to healthcare business processes, enterprise applications, Agile practices, and cross-functional collaboration.You’ll also help strengthen team knowledge through training, documentation, knowledge sharing, and structured problem resolution.This opportunity is well suited to a proactive analyst who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and enjoys turning complex business requirements into well-defined solutions.

Accountabilities:
- Gather and analyze requirements: Engage with business users to understand new requirements, enhancement requests, process challenges, and customer needs, translating them into clear functional requirements and use cases.
- Design functional solutions: Translate business requirements into product-specific designs, configurations, detailed specifications, workflows, and supporting documentation for development and systems analysis teams.
- Bridge business and technology: Act as a liaison between business users, internal information systems teams, application technology vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Document business processes: Create and maintain functional specifications, process workflows, design documentation, use cases, and other materials required for new development, enhancements, and modifications.
- Support application delivery: Work under management direction while independently contributing to assigned application areas, ensuring solutions meet business specifications, agreed scope, quality expectations, and delivery timelines.
- Engage users and stakeholders: Demonstrate new functionality, gather feedback on future requirements, participate in focus groups and workshops, and maintain close alignment with customer business objectives.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer: Deliver formal training and supporting documentation for team members and users covering new functionality, product releases, enhancements, and regulatory changes.
- Support implementation and rollouts: Assist with activations, deployments, and rollouts while helping teams identify and resolve issues that require development or application expertise.
- Investigate and resolve issues: Work with support teams to diagnose client questions and problems, document issues and resolutions, and share learnings to improve team productivity.
- Maintain quality and standards: Ensure deliverables meet defined quality and defect standards while adhering to established processes, documentation requirements, and organizational standards.
- Communicate project progress: Take ownership of assigned tasks, provide accurate and timely updates to stakeholders, proactively escalate risks or issues, and drive work through to completion.
- Contribute to team performance: Provide data for performance metrics, actively participate in meetings, contribute meaningful insights, and share domain knowledge with colleagues to strengthen overall team capabilities.
- Stay current: Continuously develop knowledge of assigned applications, business processes, industry requirements, vendor solutions, and relevant functional practices.
Requirements:
- Education: A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of relevant training and professional experience is preferred.
- Business analysis experience: Approximately 2 years of practical experience providing business process and functional support for an assigned product or application is preferred.
- Healthcare experience: 2–3 years of experience in healthcare is preferred, particularly within environments involving healthcare applications or business processes.
- Requirements analysis: Demonstrated experience gathering, analyzing, clarifying, and translating business requirements into actionable functional solutions.
- Documentation: Experience creating business analysis documentation, functional specifications, workflows, use cases, and related solution materials.
- Agile knowledge: Familiarity with Agile principles and ways of working is an advantage.
- Functional expertise: Ability to develop strong knowledge of assigned applications and understand how technology supports business processes.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with business users, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Problem solving: Analytical and structured approach to investigating issues, identifying solutions, and supporting successful application outcomes.
- Customer focus: Demonstrated ability to understand customer objectives and maintain a strong focus on delivering useful, high-quality solutions.
- Ownership and initiative: Proactive, dependable, and capable of independently managing assigned responsibilities while escalating issues appropriately.
- Collaboration: Comfortable working independently as well as with mentors, peers, support teams, development groups, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Willingness to continually expand domain knowledge, learn new application functionality, and adapt to changing business and technology requirements.
- Travel: Ability to accommodate occasional local or other business travel when required.
