We are hiring for a Principal Business Analyst in Hopkins, MN.  In this role you will be responsible for system and process knowledge for analysis and reporting within the corporate accounting business.  You will also be responsible for managing system projects to align information technology with business initiatives.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Actively leads internal projects to support and/or improve business processes; determining feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Leads the process to identify project objectives and benefits, including process re-engineering and software requirements and solutions.
  • Assumes the project director role in business process analysis, requirement definitions, and cost/benefit analysis in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
  • Provides system training and documentation to teams and assists others with related questions.
  • Communicates information pertaining to system issues and down times to the department, field and appropriate internal personnel.
  • Maintains documentation for technical procedures and support of systems.
  • Develops test cases and perform system and unit testing of system releases and upgrades to identify potential defects or confirm expected results.
  • Identifies and assists with the implementation of standard operational processes and procedures that leverage system functionality.

What We Look For:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Information Systems or related area
  • 4+ years of related work experience (preferably in the customer packaged goods industry focused in Customer Service, Supply Chain, Accounting or IS). Prior experience in SAP also preferred.
  • solid PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access)
  • demonstrated clear understanding of SAP, MEI Sales Link and Sequel Server
  • proven analytical & problem-solving skills, attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • strong time management skills, process and detail oriented
  • effective verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate to multiple levels internally and externally

What We Offer:

The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $125,000 annually with eligibility for a 15% annual incentive bonus, which is based on organizational performance. The range reflects factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and location, and starting salary may fall anywhere within the stated range.
