Job Description
- Full-time fixed term (12 month) position at HEW Level 8.
- Parramatta South Campus with flexible working arrangements.
- Salary: $118,969 – $132,069 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.
Bridge business needs and technical solutions across enterprise projects in the PMO.
The Opportunity
You will work across the Portfolio Management Office to translate complex business needs into enterprise requirements, capability models and practical solution options. Operating with autonomy, you will provide authoritative technical business analysis across concurrent projects that support institutional priorities.
Partner with sponsors, governance forums, program leaders, architects, delivery teams, change specialists and divisional stakeholders. Your work will guide solution design, support informed investment decisions and ensure requirements are clear, traceable and aligned with University priorities.
You will apply strong analysis, process modelling and documentation skills across agile and hybrid project environments. This includes using tools and methods such as BPMN, UML, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, SQL, Excel, Python, Power BI and Tableau to support technical specifications, reporting, testing, change planning and solution adoption.
What Success Looks Like:
- Establish and deliver technical business analysis activities across concurrent enterprise projects.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications that guide solution delivery.
- Provide evidence-based advice on technical, business and investment issues to a range of audiences.
- Ensure analysis outputs align with data governance, privacy, security and compliance standards.
- Support consistent technical business analysis practice through coaching, guidance and assurance.

About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Analysis, Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent extensive experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical business analysis for complex projects in federated or multi-sourced environments.
- Strong skills in requirements elicitation, process mapping, business process modelling and solution specification.
- Proven ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders, including senior academic and professional staff.
- Experience with agile or hybrid project environments, testing tools, integration concepts, APIs, enterprise architecture, data governance and compliance frameworks.
