Responsibilities

What You'll do:

  • V2X is seeking a motivated Program Financial Analyst I who is ready to apply knowledge of financial terms and principles to an authentic real-world experience. The Program Financial Analyst I will assist with a wide range of duties, including analyzing data, preparing financial reports, and learning about varied accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing program financial support to the program team
  • The position will support management on the preparation and administration of all financial data requirements such as Annual Operating Plan, Estimate at Complete, and projects as assigned by Manager
  • Partners with Operational leadership as well as with Program Support departments to address all matters of financials, invoicing, receivables and contractual requirements
  • Responsible for monthly close process, financial reporting, and accounting functions for the supporting programs
  • Manage and review journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
  • Develops and maintains program EAC forecast
  • Responsible for variance analysis reporting
  • Responsible for monthly invoices and provides support on contractual data requirements from the customer
  • Responsible for preparation of financial statements and monitoring program costs and reporting for the monthly (PMR) Program Management Review
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education:• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.(One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required)
  • Experience:• 1-3 years of Accounting/Finance experience
  • Skill:• Demonstrated ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
  • Other Requirement:• United States citizenship
  • Software:• Expertise in Excel and related financial applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in defense or government contract accounting.

  • The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
  • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.• USD $ $55,000 - 85,000
  • Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
