Title:
DG BOSS: Supervisor, Sr. QA Specialist (Contingency)
- Involves in the development of Quality Assurance Plan and Inspection of all aspects of contract performance (spec. items) of all Annexes.
- As delegated by the Quality Manager, has the authority to stop any operations, processes, services, if any indication of non-conformance to BOS Contract or for any safety-related matters.
- Provides specialized technical expertise in support of the Quality program, including specialized inspection and testing techniques, quality training, statistical methods, audits, quality tools for problem-solving and assessment.
- Creates inspection reports stating the conditions of a work area to ensure requirements are met.
- Makes recommendations for corrective action.
- Applies knowledge of quality systems and tools to validate and verify contractually required standards for project execution.
- Implements principles of performance evaluation and prediction methods are used to improve the production system's safety, reliability, and maintainability.
- Responsible for maintaining quality standards of products and the procedures and materials that go into the work scope.
- Aligns quality management function with the performance needs of product lines.
- Under general supervision, solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices.
- Uses experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes.
Basic Qualifications
- Must know about ISO 9001:2008 and 9001:2015.
- Must be a self-motivated and versatile supervisor with strong leadership characteristics and strong communication skills.
- Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through to completion on multiple tasks, under strict deadlines and changing priorities.
- Must possess administrative, organizational, and computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
- Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
- Must have a valid and be able to obtain driver’s license with restriction code at least 2.
Preferred Qualifications
JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING:
Any of the following professional certifications from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) are highly desired.
➢ Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belt Training and Certification
➢ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
➢ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI)
➢ Certified Quality Technician (CQT)
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or other related engineering and scientific fields from an accredited college, university, or equivalent institution, based on a four-year course of study.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least five (5) years of experience performing QA/QC functions in the industrial field, or experience gained by performing specific duties in a closely related professional occupation.
