Position Overview
Blackmon Power, LLC, a subsidiary of Blackmon Service, Inc., serves both Carolinas as a full-service Electrical and Testing Contractor. While specializing in data centers and critical facilities, we provide our services for various customers throughout the region. We offer and self-perform a variety of electrical installation services including equipment installations, conduit, wiring, de-commissioning, installation of backup power systems, underfloor whips, etc.
We are currently looking for a Project Manager for our Electrical Division to support our current team and customers. This is a full-time position with benefits.
Job Functions
- Perform customer site visits to establish existing electrical infrastructure
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to complete electrical estimates
- Generate customer proposals
- Manage projects including procurement, manpower scheduling and customer updates.
- Represent the company at tradeshows and events
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers
- Help Generate MOPs (Methods of Procedure) and other critical environment requirements
- Some travel to neighboring states is required
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Technical aptitude with knowledge of electrical components and systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in the electrical construction industry
- Experience managing field teams
- Electrical estimating and construction management experience
