What You Will Do

Our Finance organization plays a critical role in enabling program execution, driving financial stewardship, and supporting the delivery of mission critical capabilities. Finance analysts work across functions—including Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Contracts—to support financial excellence and disciplined execution.

  • Analysts are responsible for performing foundational financial tasks, supporting data accuracy, preparing standard reports, and assisting senior team members. At this level, analysts are expected to demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.
  • Prepare standard financial reports and metrics using provided tools and guidance
  • Extract data from SAP, Analysis for Office, and related systems
  • Support reconciliations, variance explanations, and routine finance task
  • Perform data validation in support of month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end cycles
  • Assist with creation and maintenance of spreadsheets, charts, and presentations

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Business, or relevant field and obtained by start date.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

*Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Project exposure to finance or analytics
  • Experience creating basic presentations or financial visuals
  • Strong math and spreadsheet skills

  • Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.  Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
