The Role
As Product Manager you own strategy, roadmap, and delivery for DronAR (drone training and mission scenarios) and MissionAR (tactical mission planning and preparation). You work closely with military end users, instructors, and partners, translate real operational needs into a compelling product, and drive execution together with engineering, design, and business development.
What You'll Do
- Own and develop the product strategy and roadmap for DronAR and MissionAR.
- Gather requirements from drone operators, instructors, and military subject-matter experts and translate them into clear product specifications.
- Drive discovery, prioritization, and backlog management across the entire product lifecycle.
- Plan and ship releases together with engineering, level design, and QA.
- Support product demos and pilot projects with customers (incl. Bundeswehr and international partners) and systematically incorporate feedback.
- Monitor and assess market, competitive, and technology developments in defence and simulation.
About You
- 5+ years of experience as a product manager for complex B2B or B2G software products.
- Proven track record of delivering products from discovery to customer rollout.
- Strong technical understanding (3D/simulation, XR, real-time systems, or comparable).
- Experience working directly with demanding enterprise or government customers.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to customers and training grounds.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in defence, simulation, or training; a military background is a plus.
- Experience with drones (UAS), mission planning systems, or geospatial systems.
- Experience with XR products (VR/AR/MR).
