Project Manager - Design & Construction

At Nando's, we're constantly evolving our restaurant portfolio, and we're looking for a Project Manager - Design & Construction to help bring that growth to life across Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting to the Head of Construction, you'll lead the delivery of new restaurant builds, relocations, refurbishments and restaurant enhancement projects from concept through to handover.

From new restaurant openings and drive-thru developments to refurbishment programs and operational improvement projects, you'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget and to the high standards our teams and customers expect.

Working closely with Design, Development, Operations, shopfitters, consultants and landlords, you'll balance customer experience, operational practicality and commercial outcomes while managing multiple projects across ANZ.

🔨 What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the delivery of new restaurant builds, relocations and refurbishment projects across ANZ

• Manage projects from design development through tendering, construction and handover

• Partner with architects, designers, consultants, shopfitters and contractors to achieve outstanding outcomes

• Review construction costs, budgets and project forecasts to ensure strong commercial performance

• Drive project timelines and proactively manage risks, issues and stakeholder expectations

• Support the continued evolution of Nando's restaurant formats, including drive-thru and customer experience initiatives

• Build strong relationships with Operations teams to ensure seamless project handovers

• Ensure projects meet quality, budget, safety and compliance requirements

Who You Are

You're a commercially minded project professional who loves bringing people together to deliver great outcomes.

You'll bring:

• Experience managing retail, hospitality, QSR or multi-site construction projects

• Experience delivering drive-thru projects or working within drive-thru environments highly regarded

• Strong project management, budgeting and stakeholder management skills

• A practical approach to solving problems and overcoming project challenges

• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

• Strong commercial acumen and confidence interpreting project costs and business cases

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence a broad range of stakeholders

• A passion for hospitality, customer experience and continuous improvement
