Shape the Future of AI and Analytics with Us! 🚀

The Regional Process Management (RPM) team at Siemens is looking for a Data Scientist to help design and deploy intelligent solutions at the intersection of data science, machine learning, and business strategy. You’ll collaborate closely with business partners, product teams, and senior leadership to turn data into actionable insights and drive measurable value across the organization.

If you want your work to have real impact and enjoy bridging technology with business, we’d love to meet you!

What will be your responsibilities?

  • AI/ML Model Design & Development: Design, develop, and deploy predictive and prescriptive machine learning models for business use cases.
  • Exploratory Data Analysis: Perform EDA and extract meaningful patterns from large, complex datasets.
  • AI/ML Techniques: Apply NLP, computer vision, and other advanced AI/ML techniques as required by project needs.
  • Model Lifecycle Management: Manage the full ML lifecycle from prototype to production deployment (MLOps), continuously monitor model performance, and drive iterative improvements.
  • Analytics & Business Intelligence: Transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders. Build advanced dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools. Define and track KPIs and business metrics. Design and analyze A/B tests, causal inference studies, and statistical experiments. Communicate findings to executive and non-technical audiences in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Business Transformation: Identify opportunities for process automation, digitization, and AI-driven optimization. Contribute to the organization’s AI strategy and data transformation roadmap.
  • Workshops & Training: Facilitate workshops and training sessions to increase data literacy across the business.
  • Champion Data-Driven Practices: Promote adoption of data-driven practices across departments.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with IT architects and data engineers to build scalable, enterprise-grade data platforms.

What do we expect from you?

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or in a senior analytical role. Demonstrated track record of deploying ML models into production environments.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch), strong foundations in statistics, probability, and mathematical optimization. Solid SQL skills and experience working with relational databases; NoSQL knowledge is a plus. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms—Azure, AWS, or GCP (Azure ML, SageMaker, or Vertex AI preferred). Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices (MLflow, Kubeflow, CI/CD for ML pipelines). Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib, Plotly).
  • Soft Skills: Ability to translate business problems into data and analytical solutions. Excellent communication skills—presenting complex topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Analytical mindset, creativity, and comfort working with ambiguity. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage projects end-to-end. Collaborative team player with a results-oriented approach and willingness to mentor junior colleagues.
  • Language Proficiency: C1 level of English for daily international collaboration.

Nice-to-have: Experience with LLMs and generative AI (OpenAI GPT, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face). Knowledge of Spark / Databricks for large-scale data processing. Relevant certifications in data science or cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate). Background in a consulting or transformation project environment. Familiarity with the EU AI Act regulatory framework and principles of ethical AI. Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams.

What Siemens can offer you beyond great career opportunity?

  • 33 days of holiday (5 weeks + up to 8 days from the benefit budget) and the option of unpaid leave for rest or travel.
  • Flexibility & Remote Work: Flexible working hours and the option to work from home up to 3 days a week, plus a home office setup allowance.
  • Personal Benefit Budget: Minimum 34,000 CZK per year for selected benefits (finance, wellness, health), including contributions to pension/life insurance or DIP.
  • Meals & Discounts: Electronic meal vouchers or access to the company canteen, a discounted MultiSport card, and exclusive employee discounts, plus the option to become a Siemens shareholder.
