Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting, with network equipment providers.
- Experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, Go, or Python.
- Experience in networking technologies/protocols: VXLAN, BGP EVPN, MC-LAG, Encryption, key management, zone based network segmentation, multi-tenant environments.
- Experience with enterprise data center network design and operations in a global environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- CCIE/CCDE/PCNSE certifications.
- Experience with planning and designing large scale networks (e.g., multiple sites, multiple products, etc.).
- Familiarity with leveraging AI tools to enable network feature development velocity and accelerate daily workflow.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $150000 - $217000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

- Lead the requirement analysis, engineering design, and development of solutions for Google’s Enterprise network infrastructure, executing new feature qualification, deployment, and optimization.
- Deliver secure and dependable network services by scaling systems sustainably through tools and automation, and driving changes that improve reliability and velocity.
- Partner collaboratively across business units to analyze requirements, proactively develop solutions and policies, and lead assigned projects in all technical and communication aspects.
- Coach peer engineers through effective knowledge transfer and cross-training, and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for SME Tier 3 support as needed.
