Oracle Utilities QA & Performance Engineer (C2M / CC&B / MDM) - Remote Work Type

About project: 

We are looking for an Oracle Utilities QA & Performance Engineer (C2M / CC&B / MDM) for our U.S. client specializing in IT consulting and modernization for the energy and utilities sector. Our client focuses on delivering innovative solutions, including Customer Information Systems, advisory services, and large-scale transformation projects. Their mission is to support utility organizations in improving efficiency, reliability, and customer experience through advanced technology and strategic expertise.

Responsibilities:

• As Oracle Utilities QA & Performance Engineer you will be responsible for end-to-end quality assurance, test scenario creation, test execution, automated regression testing, and performance engineering across Oracle Utilities systems (CC&B, C2M, CCS, MDM, SGG);

• You will be designing, building, and executing automated regression test suites using frameworks such as Selenium, TestSigma, Cucumber, or Java-based scripts. Ensure complete coverage of core M2C and MDM business scenarios to support zero-defect deployments;

• You will be designing and executing batch load and stress testing scripts using LoadRunner, JMeter, or Postman. Simulate high-volume billing cycles, IMD meter read ingestion, and usage calculation runs to detect batch bottlenecks and optimize thread allocation;

• You will be planning and executing test cases across System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Operational Readiness Testing (ORT), Dress Rehearsal, and Post-Deployment Validation/Smoke Testing;

• You will be preparing complex test datasets using SQL database queries across Oracle CC&B/C2M/CCS databases. Validate billing calculations, rate components, GL entries, To-Do creation, and meter read VEE statuses;

• You will be performing functional and performance testing on REST/SOAP APIs, middleware interfaces, and web services using SoapUI, Postman, or automated API testing tools;

• You will be logging, tracking, and managing software defects in Jira, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM/Quality Center. Collaborate with development leads to verify fixes and deliver clear SIT/UAT Test Execution Reports.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience for Mid Level and 8+ years of experience for Senior Level in testing and performance engineering experience in Oracle Utilities (CC&B, C2M, CCS, MDM);

• Experience in batch processing performance testing, batch cycle monitoring, and load testing on utility-scale datasets;

• Experience in test automation tools (Selenium, TestSigma, Cucumber, Java/Groovy) and performance testing tools (HP LoadRunner, LoadRunner Enterprise, JMeter);

• Experience in test data creation, backend verification, and database state checking;

• Experience in writing comprehensive test plans, test cases, defect resolution logs, and summary sign-off reports;

• Experience in utility cloud release regression testing (Oracle Cloud releases) and environment validation.
