Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Manager on the Rack Solutions team, you will own the end-to-end delivery of complex, customer-driven hardware projects with intricate Bills of Materials. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where your ability to coordinate across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality teams directly affects our ability to meet aggressive customer timelines. The role requires availability support during off hours and depending on the customer and team structure cadence mornings or evenings, depending on the geographic location of the teams or job site. Limited and occasional travel but you will be primarily on-site in San Jose.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for a delivery-focused project manager with strong hardware experience who can drive complex rack and cluster projects from scope to shipment in a fast-paced, matrix environment.

What Success Looks Like in This Role You will take full ownership of project schedules, risk management, material readiness, and cross-functional execution for sophisticated rack solutions. You will keep stakeholders aligned, proactively remove blockers, and ensure on-time delivery while balancing multiple workstreams.

Qualifications:

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 8+ years of project management experience, with proven success managing complex hardware projects involving intricate Bills of Materials (BoM)
  • Expert-level proficiency in Jira, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, or equivalent project tracking tools
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects in parallel (typically 1 large + 2–3 smaller) while maintaining momentum and attention to detail
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills in a matrix environment — able to influence and coordinate without direct authority
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to toggle quickly between projects, priorities, and stakeholder groups
  • Ability to communicate eloquently with customers and demonstrate resiliency in managing escalations and challenges from customers, internal leadership teams, and external vendors
  • Willing and able to work on-site 5 days per week in our San Jose headquarters, with availability on a project basis to travel and host meetings across global time zones

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data center infrastructure, server/rack hardware, or high-tech manufacturing/NPI environments
  • Background managing customer-facing hardware projects
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field

Salary Range

$150,000 - $176,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills,years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensivebenefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus andequity award programs.
