Salesforce Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and customizing Agentforce and Service Cloud solutions to meet the specific needs of our business. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, extensive experience in Salesforce development, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Your Role & Responsibilities

Salesforce Development

• Develop scalable and maintainable code on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Aura, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows and other relevant technologies.

• Stay current with new Salesforce features and functionality to recommend improvements and innovations.

• Aid in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during development, testing, and post-deployment stages.

• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to grow expertise in Salesforce.

• Familiarity with Salesforce integration patterns and experience with Salesforce APIs.

• Knowledge of Agentforce, Einstein Co-Pilot, Einstein Analytical Studio, Experience Cloud, Data 360, or other specialized clouds.

• Understanding of Salesforce security, sharing model, and data architecture.

Customization and Configuration

• Customize and configure Salesforce applications to align with business processes and requirements.

• Develop and maintain custom objects, workflows, validation rules, process builder, and other declarative development features.

Technical Support and Maintenance

• Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for existing Salesforce solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations.

Business Accountabilities

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business objectives.

Documentation and Best Practices

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user guides, and release notes.

• Adhere to and promote best practices in Salesforce development, including code quality, testing, and deployment processes.

Your Skills and Experience

Salesforce Expertise

• Extensive experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and process builder.

• Extensive experience with AI prompt engineering and design of Agentforce agents.

• Extensive experience with configuring AI guardrails.

• Ability to compare existing features against Salesforce OOB capabilities & recommended patterns.

Integration Experience

• Proven experience integrating Salesforce with other systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.

• Hands-on experience working with the MuleSoft integration platform is required.

• Familiarity with data migration and ETL processes.

Technical Proficiency

• Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Gearset) and CI/CD tools.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

• Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Project Management and Collaboration

• Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Ability to work with operational teams to assess business processes, custom functionality, & user pain points to identify gaps, redundancies, & potential streamlining.

• Ability to work with operational teams to identify & design AI solutions, including necessary guardrails.

• Ability to assess effort, complexity, and risk for potential solutions and to provide estimates of time & time.

• Ability to explain options & impact for stakeholder decision-making.

Certifications

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II certifications are highly desirable.

• Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified App Builder) are a plus.

Additional Information

Primary work location is Blackrock but occasional travel may be required to other Zurich locations.
