Your future role at a glance

  • Location: Nashville, Tennessee
  • Facility: Ascension St. Thomas Midtown Hospital
  • Department: Construction
  • Schedule: Days l Full-time l 40 hours per week

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Direct full capital project lifecycles—including scope, schedule, budget, bidding, and quality assurance—collaborating with healthcare staff, architects, and contractors.
  • Establish national construction management policies and enforce facility-wide safety protocols across all building and renovation projects.
  • Define team roles, allocate resources based on project constraints, and align cross-functional efforts to meet organizational goals.
  • Monitor key operational metrics (EV, budget burn, timeline slippage) and regularly report project status, risks, and milestones to key stakeholders.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credential(s):

  • Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Preferred Credential(s):

  • Licensed Construction Professional. Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC).
  • Project Mgmt Professional. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) accepted.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
