As a Pricing & Profitability Product Manager, you will play a key role in driving the evolution of platforms and capabilities that support loan pricing, profitability analysis, commercial banking decision-making, and related sales enablement processes. This role sits within the Sales, Credit and Servicing Center of Excellence (COE), a full-service technology implementation organization responsible for product design, delivery, and modernization across several strategic financial services platforms.
The COE supports solutions including Salesforce, PrecisionLender, Zafin, Curinos, and nCino, which enable critical capabilities across customer relationship management, lending, pricing and profitability, product onboarding, and commercial banking operations. Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, testing organizations, release management teams, and external vendors, you will help deliver innovative solutions that improve the employee and customer experience, increase market competitiveness, drive growth and manage risk.
The ideal candidate combines strong product management fundamentals with the ability to quickly learn complex financial services products, pricing and profitability concepts, and enterprise technology platforms. Success in this role requires curiosity, adaptability, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate customer and business needs into scalable product solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of product capabilities, workflows, customer journeys, and end-user needs to identify opportunities for enhancements and improved user experiences.
- Develop expertise in pricing, profitability, lending, and customer relationship management platforms to identify opportunities that improve business performance, user adoption, and customer outcomes.
- Lead product discovery, design workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders, end users, technology partners, and vendor teams.
- Define product vision, priorities, outcomes, and roadmaps aligned to business objectives and customer needs.
- Translate business requirements into product capabilities, epics, features, and user stories that support Agile delivery.
- Manage product backlogs and partner with Agile teams through design, build, testing, implementation, and post-release support activities.
- Partner closely with technology, testing, and release management teams to ensure successful delivery of product initiatives.
- Support annual roadmap planning, quarterly prioritization exercises, and capacity planning across multiple products and initiatives.
- Evaluate current platform functionality and recommend enhancements that improve usability, adoption, efficiency, scalability, and customer outcomes.
- Collaborate with external vendors and understand vendor platform capabilities, constraints, and release schedules to drive product decisions.
- Drive modernization and continuous improvement efforts based on customer feedback, business priorities, regulatory considerations, and strategic objectives.
- Operate effectively in ambiguous environments while balancing multiple priorities and competing stakeholder needs.
- Build broad cross-functional product knowledge and contribute across multiple product domains as business priorities evolve
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Typically eight or more years of experience in product management, business analysis, technology delivery, data and analytics, or related disciplines.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience working with commercial banking, loan pricing, profitability management, CRM, lending, or financial services technology platforms.
- Experience with Salesforce, nCino, PrecisionLender, Zafin, Curinos, or similar enterprise business platforms.
- Proven ability to quickly learn complex systems, products, technologies, and business processes.
- Strong understanding of product strategy, product planning, discovery, and product lifecycle management.
- Experience gathering requirements, facilitating design sessions, and translating business needs into user stories and product features.
- Ability to analyze user behavior and business processes to identify opportunities for improved functionality, efficiency, and customer experience.
- Experience working with Agile teams and delivering products through iterative sprint-based development methodologies.
- Strong customer-centric mindset with demonstrated experience incorporating customer feedback into product decisions.
- Experience partnering with business leaders, technology teams, and external vendors to drive successful outcomes.
- Knowledge of product performance metrics, adoption measurements, customer experience insights, and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Vendor management experience, including working within vendor-supported platform capabilities and constraints.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated success operating in ambiguous situations and adapting to changing priorities.
